BID - STRUCTURAL REACH REPLACEMENT

The City of Los Altos, Santa Clara County, California, invites sealed bids furnishing labor, material and equipment required to complete the project in the particular locations, of the forms, sizes and dimensions and of the materials and to the lines and grades and at the elevations as shown and delineated upon the plans and specifications made therefor.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing 6-inch and 8-inch VCP with 8-inch HDPE sewer mains using pipe reaming/ horizontal directional drilling (HDD) pipe replacement construction methods, sewer lateral reconnections, sewer manhole reconnections, surface restoration, traffic control, mobilization, stormwater control, utility coordination, sewage bypassing, video inspection of the segments, removal of outside drop pipe system, existing sewer main abandonment in place, survey referencing of existing survey monuments, reinstallation of existing survey monuments if disturbed during construction, and all other work as shown on the Plans and as called for in the Project Specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

The range for the Engineer's Estimate is $750,000 to $850,000.
