Laundry Hook-up For LACC Washer / Dryer

The City of Los Altos, Santa Clara County, California, invites sealed bids for furnishing labor, material and equipment required to complete the project in the particular locations, of the forms, sizes and dimensions and of the materials and to the lines and grades and at the elevations as shown and delineated upon the plans and specifications made therefore.

The project generally includes providing all utility connections required for a standard washer and dryer system at the Los Altos Community Center, including electricity, hot and cold water, sanitary sewer, and dryer vent. The improvements will require drywall, stucco, and paint touchups. Washer /dryer will be furnished by the City and installed by the Contractor.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference

A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, to review the Project’s existing conditions at 97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos, CA 94022.  Representatives of the City will be present. Questions asked by Bidders at the Pre-Bid Conference not specifically addressed within the Contract Documents shall be answered in writing and shall be provided to all Bidders

Bid Opening Instructions

There will be no virtual option for this bid opening. Sealed bids must be dropped off inside the bid box left in front of the City Hall main entrance on May 01, 2024 between 9 AM and 2:00 PM. Additionally, sealed bids can be delivered via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other carriers to the Department of Public Works, Engineering Services Division at City Hall prior to the Bid due date.  Please clearly label the package with the project title and add “ATTN: Scott Reeves.”  Bids received on time will be publicly opened and read aloud on Wednesday, May 01, 2024, at 2:00 PM at City Hall.
