Does the City intend to update the VMT estimates used for the on-road community emissions using the VTA travel model? If so, has the City purchased the current version of the VTA travel model?

Answer

Yes we intend to update to the VMT estimates, but will continue using LOS data a intersections to evaluate a project’s potential for impacts on the local circulation system. We have not purchased this system, but would be relying on the models provided by our consultant that is assisting us with the transition to VMT, which we understand is based on the VTA model and its data.
